ClearVision’s Intern Program strives to empower students by providing a unique learning experience that will ease the transition from student to professional.

Our program takes an integrated approach: we provide actual work assignments layered with opportunities to develop tangible skills and business acumen through training, management interaction, and inclusion in organization events – all in a highly interactive environment.

What you can expect to learn

Key skills training:

  • individual brand building

  • techniques for creative brainstorming

  • critical thinking methodologies

We also provide an interactive management speaker series and inclusion in the company’s philanthropic outreach. Additionally, email etiquette workshops and interview tools round out the program.

HIGHLIGHTED PROGRAMS:
CVO Interns
Interns enjoy an outdoor lunch break at the company’s headquarters.

Speed Networking: A creative way to teach interns about the power of building business relationships, this exciting, fast interaction connects interns with professionals who can share insight on career choices and goals.

The Science of Shopping Workshop: This interactive workshop focuses on the psychology of why people buy and what motivates their choices, intertwining current marketing, advertising and digital philosophies with real world examples.

Left Vs. Right Brain Thinking Workshop: Focusing on how to bridge creativity and analytical skills for success, this workshop enhances the skills that are expected of today’s professionals — innovation, resourcefulness, and solution-oriented thinking.

Book Club with the President: Each year, the program includes a summer book discussion led by ClearVision President, David Friedfeld, who selects a title based on its relevancy and provides robust opportunity for discussion and debate directly with him. It’s an opportunity for students to learn how to express their thoughts cohesively and receive critical feedback from a senior executive.

New this year: Building your Personal Brand: In today’s evolving landscape, how you represent yourself is as important as your actual experience. Interns learn how to use LinkedIn and other current social media platforms to enhance their brand and network in today’s world.

Philanthropic Outreach:

ClearVision Interns
Summer interns participate in Camp Day at Camp Kehilla, an educational, socially and emotionally safe day camp for children with special needs.

A central part of the program, interns participate in several of ClearVision’s philanthropic events. Exposing interns to the importance of giving back on a corporate level encourages commitment and responsibility from both a business and personal perspective.

The program also includes “The Intern Video” project, an opportunity for creative expression by the interns themselves. Each year, the interns work with ClearVision’s marketing team to develop the script, film and edit the video, providing valuable exposure to current trends in marketing, public relations, social media and advertising. In 2012, the team capitalized on current trends by creating a parody of the widely popular song “Call Me Maybe,” called “Hire Me Maybe,” currently featured on YouTube.

ClearVision has been widely-recognized for its internship program and has received countless accolades, including a feature in Newsday, recognition by One Day, One Job, and receipt of Dowling College’s Internship Program “Employer of the Semester” award.
